Montreal -
Recent leaks suggest that Walmart is preparing to refresh its ONN streaming lineup with two new devices: a redesigned ONN 4K box and an all-new ONN 4K streaming stick.
What’s New This Time?
According to early leaks, Walmart is working on:
- A new ONN 4K streaming box (higher-end model)
- A new ONN 4K streaming stick (budget-friendly option)
The updated ONN 4K box is expected to feature a more modern design similar to the Google TV Streamer 4K, while the streaming stick appears to take inspiration from the Amazon Fire TV Stick.
This suggests Walmart is clearly targeting both home users (box) and portability-focused users (stick).
Updated Rumored Specs (Important Correction)
Newer leaks indicate a clearer separation between the two devices:
ONN 4K Streaming Stick (Entry-Level)
- 2 GB RAM.
- 8 GB storage.
- Compact, plug-and-play design.
- Likely the most affordable option.
ONN 4K Streaming Box (Higher-End)
- 3 GB RAM
- 32 GB storage
- Positioned closer to a “Pro” or premium budget device.
This aligns with existing ONN products, where higher-end boxes already feature 3GB RAM and 32GB storage in some variants
Why This Matters
This split is actually a big deal:
- The stick replaces ultra-budget devices and competes directly with cheaper streaming sticks.
- The box moves closer to premium territory while still undercutting competitors on price
If true, the 32GB storage on the box would be a major upgrade over older base ONN models, which typically had much less storage.
Expected Release Window
Leaks suggest both devices could launch in 2026, with the ONN 4K stick possibly arriving first—rumored between April and July.
That timing would position Walmart to compete aggressively during mid-year sales and back-to-school shopping.
As always, these are still leaks, so specs and release dates could change. But based on current information, ONN’s next wave of devices could be its most compelling yet.
